A new home page with 100+ Skills, parallel projects in Desktop, and @-mentions of past projects

View as Markdown

The home page now leads with Skills, and more than 100 Skills cover talking-head editing, video packaging, product ads, app promos, viral recreation and product images. In Desktop, you can move several projects forward at once and @-mention a past project so the agent can reuse its approach.

Skills

Find 100+ Skills on the new home page and in the editor

The redesigned chatcut.io home page and chatcut.io/skills list more than 100 Skills for talking-head editing, video packaging, product ads, app promos, viral recreation, product images and more. Pick one, add your media, and ChatCut does the rest. In the editor, select the Skills icon below the AI input box; the Skill marketplace there shows the same categories and cards as the home page.

Projects

Work on several projects at once in Desktop

In ChatCut Desktop, choose Open in New Window from the project list to give each project its own window, and keep several chats in one project to switch back to later. Each project's agent runs independently, so several edits move forward at the same time without blocking each other. This also applies when Codex, Claude Code or WorkBuddy work on different Desktop projects.

Version requirement: Desktop 0.7.7 or later

Agents

@-mention a past project so the Desktop agent can reuse its approach

In ChatCut Desktop, type @ in the AI input box and choose a past project from the Projects group, for example "Edit this one in the packaging style of @last episode." The agent only reads that project and does not change it; media it needs is copied into the current project. The Desktop agent can also look through your past projects, media and chats on its own, and from Desktop 0.8.4 it can reuse design styles and animations you approved in other projects. Reading and @-mentioning past projects is available only in Desktop.

Version requirement: Desktop 0.7.7 or later
