Fix Spoken Mistakes
Synced from the ChatCut Skill catalog · Updated September 15, 2026
Correct spoken mistakes in video or audio using your own voice, without re-recording. Tell ChatCut which phrase to change and what it should say. For example, change “We’re meeting on Tuesday” to “We’re meeting on Thursday”. It generates and replaces the corresponding speech, keeping the rest of the content intact. Use an existing cloned voice, or give permission to create one from the current recording.
What this Skill does
Correct a wrong word, name, number, or short phrase in existing recorded speech. Use for real spoken mistakes in audio or video, not transcript-only errors or full narration rewrites.
Use this Skill when
The user wants to correct a real misspoken word, name, number, or short phrase in existing recorded speech without re-recording the whole passage.
What the package contains
- 3 workflow steps
- The ordered procedure the agent works through, from the material you hand it to the finished timeline.
- 2 operating rules
- Constraints it holds to along the way, so the result stays predictable instead of drifting mid-edit.
- 1 quality checks
- What it verifies before calling the work done — the pass you would otherwise run yourself.
- 4 defined inputs
- The footage, references, and decisions this workflow expects from you up front.
How to run it
Open this Skill in ChatCut and it loads into the project you are working in. From there you describe the job in your own words — the Skill supplies the procedure, so you do not have to spell out each step, and you can redirect it at any point without starting over.
